Comments about Spirit Days

I try to make every day a spirit day, taking time to
read and remind myself that life is so much more
about living than about completing tasks, although our
society has become so hectic, with people feeling
constantly overwhelmed with busy-ness. Sometimes i
find that i become addicted to this busy-ness, and
use
it to feel useful and validated, when my validation
can just come simply from being alive and part of
life. Our purpose is to love each other. The more
i
live the more i am convinced this is all that
matters.

See you soon (; denise

Thank you for the newsletter,
I guess you could say I have spirit mornings on occasional Saturday
mornings when I'm not working. Mark is usually at work until noon on
Saturdays so I have what I call "me time" in the morning. Sometimes I
work out but other times I usually do things to sooth and relax me. Sometimes my quiet times come at unusual times during the day
and evening but I definitely try to have them as much as possible when
I'm not in work or busy mode. Love and Friends Forever, Beth

That sounds like a wonderful day...yes, as you commented for those of us who are unaccustomed to relaxing and taking an entire day off, incorporating even just 10 minutes, is a start in that direction. Myself, I guess I kind of do that, with a cup of coffee...but then again no, as I am planning what must be done and what time to start. Whenever I get ill, which is rare, then I have no choice but to sleep.
That will be something I will try, at your suggestion to do, Jenny.
Thanks for the idea.
Aunt Letty
